Hello, Flipnote Artists! I am considering adopting the wiki in order to give it a great new appearance and much cleanup on articles about Hatena/Sudomemo users. Here are my plans for the wiki after potentially adopting it:
Appearance[]
Being somewhat of a graphic designer, I want to give the wiki a welcoming, professional appearance. Here's what I can do:[]
- A Flipnote Artist Wiki wordmark! Many wikis have their own wordmarks (Wikia logos). I am planning on creating a polished, businesslike logo.
- A background featuring various Flipnote themes, characters and more. Imagine the Flipnote Artist Wiki's background coming to life with floating styluses, Nintendo DSi and 3DS systems, and random Flipnote sketches. Once you visit the wiki, you'll be immersed in the world of Flipnote Studio!
Articles[]
I will perform general cleanup and more on the wiki's articles.
- Merging of pages. There are many pages about specific users' Flipnotes, and then separate pages about the user's accounts on Hatena/Sudomemo. I am planning on merging these pages so that we do not have to much repeated information and more original content.
- Expansion of stub pages. Most of the wiki's current articles about specific users are stubs, with only several sentences (if that many) of content. I will use resources such as Hatena profiles and Sudomemo Theatre pages to find as much information as possible on such users to expand the pages.
- Creation of basic info pages. While we have an abundance of pages about users, we lack sufficient articles about the Flipnote Studio service, Nintendo, the Nintendo DSi and 3DS consoles, and Hatena itself. I will create these pages, and they will likely be some of the largest, most in-depth articles on the wiki after being completed.
